Paulino Marino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sambuca FC. Julio Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Abadia in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Pablo Baumar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Cesaro skillfully saved the ball. When Angel Dolfo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Deportivo Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Dolfo couldn't finish the play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Teofilo Abadia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Julio Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Angel Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sambuca FC's zone, Angel Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Cesaro came out of the goal and Angel Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Deportivo Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Julian Muc. After recieving a nice pass, Sambuca FC's Laureano Urtsua tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Deportivo Rivadavia's Paulino Marino got control of the ball when Leopoldo Iyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonifacio Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Paulino Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Gregory to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Deportivo Rivadavia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laureano Urtsua who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sambuca FC's corner Laureano Urtsua fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Marino quite easily take care of the ball. When Anselmo Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sambuca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Patrido couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Abadia in the 64th minute of play forced Sambuca FC's goalkeeper Julio Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Gregory cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paulino Marino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Teofilo Abadia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Cesaro, 2-1. When Victor Txurio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Rivadavia's protests and gave Victor Txurio a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Dolfo got free with Julio Cesaro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Valentin Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
