Pearson FC's Fabricio Primeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edgardo Lehior hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Primeiro in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Ekaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Pearson FC. Braulio Viator stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Ekaitz. 0-1. Mariano Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Primeiro in the 21st minute of play. Guido Gonzalez took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Ekaitz. Mariano Ekaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edgardo Lehior hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Gonzalez came free, but Mariano Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ambrosio Tino fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pearson FC's protests and gave Ambrosio Tino a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Pearson FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Tino. Jacinto Ebardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Valentin Ostadar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacinto Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Ostadar having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Fabricio Primeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pearson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 46 minutes into the match, Pearson FC's Guido Gonzalez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Ekaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Valentin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ebardo in the 55th minute of play. Edgardo Lehior's late challenge caught a Pearson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Lehior helped the player get up and apologised. Guido Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aquilino Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Temperley's protests and gave Aquilino Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Vidal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Guido Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match, Fabricio Primeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariano Ekaitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 75 minutes into the match, Temperley's goalkeeper Mariano Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Gonzalez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Ebardo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ekaitz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pearson FC's zone, Jacinto Ebardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Ostadar came out of the goal and Jacinto Ebardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Ekaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Gonzalez in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Jacinto Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temperley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Ebardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
