Spectators: 7108 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amador Emmanuel started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Maximo Calisto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Estevon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Amador Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aristides Gombal came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Los Jibaros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Gombal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Jibaros booed when Quilmes Atlético Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Pacorro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teo Fiz. Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Los Jibaros's Anastasio Estevon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los Jibaros from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Maximo Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Jibaros's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Panpili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Panpili came free, but Teo Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Jibaros's Aristides Gombal got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberto Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Evelio Christobal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilmes Atlético Club and the Los Jibaros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quilmes Atlético Club's Evelio Christobal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Joel Caradaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Fiz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quilmes Atlético Club's Evelio Christobal got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Calisto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Amador Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Evelio Christobal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aristides Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Maximo Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Jibaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amador Emmanuel got in the 63rd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Teo Fiz. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-2. Silvano Goren charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Goren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximo Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Fiz having to interfere. Amador Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Fiz having to interfere. Aristides Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Fiz having to interfere. Teo Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Emmanuel in the 85th minute of the match. Amador Emmanuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Fiz having to make a save. Teo Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Teo Fiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes Atlético Club's goalkeeper Teo Fiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Goren in the 93rd minute of play forced Los Jibaros's goalkeeper Anastasio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Quilmes Atlético Club's Teo Ricart got a free kick in the 96th minute.
