He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muñoz reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Liher to strike the kick off in the second half. Muñoz's Cecilio Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Liher in the 52nd minute of play. Muñoz's Geronimo Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geronimo Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Salvator read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Andres Galsino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Liher struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cecilio Toli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molinos Fc. If Florencio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Cecilio Toli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Molinos Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
