The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Domingues during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Matias Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Honorato Quexal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabezon F.C and the Me Duele El Higo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Cabezon F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Me Duele El Higo's Victorio Baleren got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Etxatxu got free with Severo Sesuldo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Sesuldo having to interfere. During the 41st minute of the match Carolo Domingues completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carolo Domingues a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Me Duele El Higo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Carolo Domingues hit a great ball. Adrian Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Mannie made a kick off. When Prospero Luke came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Me Duele El Higo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Luke couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Cabezon F.C defense, Lucio Etxatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Sesuldo. The Cabezon F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Sesuldo should have stopped the shot. Lucio Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florentino Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Etxatxu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Severo Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Etxatxu in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Cabezon F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Etxatxu came free, but Severo Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adrian Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Cristobal Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Dimas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Patricio Mitxel. In the 95th minute, Me Duele El Higo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florentino Mannie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Me Duele El Higo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cabezon F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
