The supporters of C A San Miguel booed when Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Jaume prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 minutes, Jonathan Peru made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. C A San Miguel's Rafael Jaume tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Bastian in the 78th minute of play. Rafael Jaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the C A San Miguel defense, Raimundo Bastian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Jaume. The C A San Miguel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Jaume should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Merlo were the better team. Merlo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
