The supporters of Barrio Facultad booed when Aluminé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Aluminé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Felo came free, but Rene Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Leopoldo Felo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Aluminé AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Delmar Herensuge hit a great ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aluminé AFC's goalkeeper Rene Petrigai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes, Higinio Claude made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aluminé AFC's Rene Petrigai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Severo Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Barrio Facultad's Zbyszko Kiewra got control of the ball when Freddy Oro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Kiewra having to interfere. Higinio Claude took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Petrigai. Rene Petrigai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Abascal to strike the kick off in the second half. Zbyszko Kiewra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Kiewra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Higinio Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Freddy Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aluminé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Higinio Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rene Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Claude in the 95th minute of play. Rene Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. When the match was over Barrio Facultad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aluminé AFC throughout the match.
