Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4003, Seating: 1004, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Tadzio kicked off to start the match. Barreal's Simon Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Jerardo in the 7th minute of play. Lakers's Augusto Arnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Madaleno in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Barreal booed when Lakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ermegildo Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lakers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Jerardo couldn't finish the play. Lakers's Raimundo Eufemio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Lakers's Ermegildo Jerardo in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Simon Garaile was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Barreal through an amazing save. If Luciano Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Eufemio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Garaile having to make a save. Augusto Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Gerazan in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Nicolas Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Luciano Tadzio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabian Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Arnas having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Raimundo Eufemio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ermegildo Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Garaile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Eufemio in the 44th minute. Simon Garaile was a little too slow when Raimundo Eufemio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Rodrigo Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Barreal fans jumped to their feet. Nicolas Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Simon Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lakers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicolas Iraido hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Ramiro Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Garaile showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Lakers's Raimundo Eufemio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Iraido in the 88th minute of play. Lakers's Nicolas Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Arnas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreal's Rodrigo Gerazan. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Gerazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
