After 19 minutes of play, Hannover 1985's Valentin Dodorol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Balendin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Che in the 37th minute of play. Valentin Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Balendin having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Maximiliano Che mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hannover 1985 and the La Banda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Claudio Cebrian fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hannover 1985's protests and gave Claudio Cebrian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hannover 1985 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Claudio Cebrian hit a great ball. The supporters of La Banda FC booed when Hannover 1985 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannover 1985 played a much better game than La Banda FC and deserved their victory. The La Banda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
