Cipriano Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Orkatz having to interfere. Eliseo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ceferino Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Bessone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Aimar in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eliseo Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartodeesto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Saul Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matyvelez F.C.'s protests and gave Saul Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Matyvelez F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Saul Santikurtz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Raphael in the 25th minute of play forced Matyvelez F.C.'s goalkeeper Ceferino Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Orkatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Raphael's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Benito Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Benito Sol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolo Bessone. Hartodeesto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Sol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Hartodeesto FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ciro Bonifaco hit a great ball. Matyvelez F.C.'s Ceferino Orkatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Matyvelez F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Cipriano Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Raphael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceferino Orkatz was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Hartodeesto FC's Moises Fero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ceferino Orkatz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciro Bonifaco charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Bonifaco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Matyvelez F.C.'s Tomas Gonsalve seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomas Gonsalve the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Matyvelez F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomas Gonsalve had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matyvelez F.C.! Moises Fero shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 78 minutes into the match, Hartodeesto FC's Eliseo Umea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceferino Orkatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eliseo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Raphael in the 85th minute of play forced Matyvelez F.C.'s goalkeeper Ceferino Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hartodeesto FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Matyvelez F.C. to win.
