Everardo Gutierrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 17 played minutes Atlético Pinamar got a freekick which was hit by Mārtiņs Gasūns. Florentino Abilio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ariel Manzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Manzano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ariel Manzano slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Pinamar's Ariel Manzano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The Atlético Pinamar fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Atlético Pinamar's Ariel Manzano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melchor Urritz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ariel Manzano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Gutierrez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Gergori was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Matias Corderall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Pinamar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Depo Tria the free kick. Everardo Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Manzano in the 54th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ariel Manzano notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Depo Tria's Everardo Gutierrez. Everardo Gutierrez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atlético Pinamar's Ramon Azibar was substituted for Angel Maldonado. Ariel Manzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Depo Tria's zone, Ariel Manzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Gutierrez came out of the goal and Ariel Manzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Manzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Gutierrez having to interfere. In the 80th minute of the match, Eustaquio Ihazintu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pastor Estevez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Depo Tria booed when Atlético Pinamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Depo Tria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
