The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cayetano Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Banda FC's Victor Domingues got a free kick in the 8th minute. Danilo Tome, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dalmacio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Rios having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Teo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Banda FC booed when Círculo Tolosano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Jayvier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Teo Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. La Banda FC's Erubiel Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Abaunza in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Bernabe Carlomagno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Rios. La Banda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Carlomagno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Teo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Albino Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Hernan Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Cristofol having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Gabirel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Erubiel Rios made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda FC's zone, Dalmacio Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Rios came out of the goal and Dalmacio Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Teo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Gabirel in the 58th minute of play forced Círculo Tolosano's goalkeeper Albino Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Teo Lazcano made a precise shot to the right of Albino Cristofol. Círculo Tolosano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Elvio Cebrian hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. La Banda FC's Erubiel Rios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save La Banda FC from getting a goal against them. Marco Eate kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes, La Banda FC's Severo Sagrario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albino Cristofol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Banda FC reached it. Bernabe Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Erubiel Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Círculo Tolosano. Erubiel Rios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Carlomagno went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Erubiel Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Abaunza in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Círculo Tolosano's goalkeeper Albino Cristofol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Círculo Tolosano's Hernan Jayvier got a free kick in the 87th minute. La Banda FC's Erubiel Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Carlomagno in the 94th minute of play.
