In the 44th minute, Bernabe Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Hartz in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Hartz to make the kick off. Braulio Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Leones Cristianos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Oidor. When LA CUMBANCHA FC's Braulio Shantala, in the 91st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LA CUMBANCHA FC. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Cristian Olivar got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Oidor in the 95th minute. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Gustavo Rubio got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute.
