A collision led to Ironmass getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ulises Jakes hit a great ball. Efrain Jerrald might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Cugat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Jerrald ran back to his position shaking his head. Teobaldo Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Diegotxe in the 41st minute of the match. Efrain Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Teobaldo Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bayauca FC booed when Ironmass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Raitin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fabio Pintos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobaldo Cugat. Ironmass's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Melquiades Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Diegotxe in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Cugat saved Ironmass from getting behind. Casimiro Abreu's late challenge caught a Bayauca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 97 minutes, Felipe Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayauca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Diegotxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bayauca FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
