In the 20th minute, Filiberto Weterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dante Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Insomnio's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Marcial Evangelista made a precise shot to the right of Bernardino Cristofol. Juvenil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 42 minutes, Ignacio Dimas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Insomnio and the Juvenil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Insomnio getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Weterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
