Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 5) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benito Oriche made the kick off which started today's match. 9 minutes into the match, Salguero's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Abaurre came free, but Efrain Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Totoral booed when Salguero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Basualdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benito Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Urtsua during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Salguero. Ismael Berdoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aldo Laffitte. 1-1. Aldo Laffitte was a little too slow when Salvador Dolcet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. 3-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Romulo Orkatz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elvio Basualdo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Basualdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eustacio Quirze was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aldo Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Romulo Orkatz sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Dolcet to strike the kick off in the second half. Totoral's Aldo Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Dolcet in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Totoral got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Donostia. Aldo Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Dolcet in the 54th minute of the match. Totoral's Benito Oriche got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Romulo Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Salguero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Orkatz couldn't finish the play. Salvador Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Laffitte having to interfere. Arnaldo Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Lauren having to interfere. Elvio Basualdo got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 80th minute, Elvio Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Benicio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totoral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Ismael Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Totoral were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Salguero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustacio Quirze took the corner. Totoral's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Salguero had won, even though Totoral had held more of the ball.
