Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Albano Beremundo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustavo Gaizkine came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Bañado's Sergio Hever. But to his dismay, Sergio Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Albano Beremundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Gaizkine was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After having played for 22 minutes, Fausto Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bañado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fútbol Bidón booed when Bañado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Demesio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvestre Macias. Bañado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Urbano Erdiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Macias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 37th match minute, Fútbol Bidón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Demesio to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Albano Beremundo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bañado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Beremundo couldn't finish the play. Horacio Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Macias having to interfere. The Fútbol Bidón players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bañado were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Erdiano to make the kick off. After 89 minutes, Sergio Hever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bañado and the Fútbol Bidón players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fútbol Bidón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bañado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
