Leoni AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Jacobo Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Culoncitos.F.C's Enrique Esiquio tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Leoni AFC's Carlos Pedroso got a free kick in the 16th minute. Luciano Su blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galeno Fuente having to make a save. Emanuel Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Fuente having to interfere. Francisco Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Evis came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Eladio could save by the left post. Galeno Fuente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Su in the 42nd minute of the match. Mario Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Fuente having to interfere. Aurelio Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Culoncitos.F.C's Fernando Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ospetsu in the 59th minute of play. Mario Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Fuente having to interfere. If Luciano Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Bembe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Galeno Fuente. That made the score 0-2 in the 69 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Emanuel Baudelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Eladio having to interfere. If Francisco Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Severo Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes, Leoni AFC's Carlos Bernad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Eladio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leoni AFC reached it. Luciano Su was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Culoncitos.F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fernando Eladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Evis in the 95th minute of play.
