Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Santxol in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Casado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Ramiro Raitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Peli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Atahona FC's Leonel Urbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Casado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Leonel Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atahona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jeronimo Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 61st minute Jeronimo Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madryn's Eduardo Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Santxol in the 66th minute of play.
