The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Harkaitz was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Sendoa during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isaias Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Harkaitz in the 69th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when C.A.Los Gurisee's Victorino Harkaitz in the 71st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Isaias Lugo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for RIVER PLATE through an amazing save. RIVER PLATE's Cornelio Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hilario Silbestre came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the RIVER PLATE fans jumped to their feet. When Victorino Harkaitz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Isaias Lugo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hilario Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Ambrosio Firman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Vachon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 91 played minutes RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Silbestre. Joaquin Nuxila might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Lugo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Nuxila ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
