Campos Luis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Raphael in the 20th minute of play. Loventué's Talip Rical got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. YOLY FC's Constantino Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Mendiko in the 30th minute of play. Cesar Galsino charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Galsino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Talip Rical got free with Constantino Rocendo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Oto in the 58th minute of play forced Loventué's goalkeeper Campos Luis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Rocendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Rafael Mendiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. YOLY FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Loventué for much of the match.
