Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Galarza AFC's Luis Panpili started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christian Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Txerran in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Victorino Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, mongos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Txerran came free, but Christian Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Galarza AFC's goalkeeper Israel Intxixu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Menendo. Israel Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Luis Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galarza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Israel Intxixu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Menendo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Galarza AFC's Israel Intxixu got control of the ball when David Menendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorino Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mancio having to interfere. The supporters of Galarza AFC booed when mongos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Christian Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Benicio Alvarez rounded Galarza AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 47th minute, Luis Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Benicio Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. Victorino Txerrans short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Christian Mancio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christian Mancio was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Luis Panpili capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Panpili really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Victorino Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mancio having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Victorino Txerran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Panpili in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Mancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benicio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Jonatan Refugio in the 76th minute really tested Christian Mancio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. David Menendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Intxixu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Luis Panpili received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Mancio came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Panpili slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 82nd minute. Luis Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mancio having to interfere. Israel Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Menendo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Intxixu saved Galarza AFC from getting behind. David Menendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Intxixu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Menendo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play, mongos fc's Benicio Alvarez made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! mongos fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
