Ahrenfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Eleder having to interfere. Manuel Donostia charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Donostia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensa y Justicia's Manuel Donostia got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Manuel Donostia off the ground. After a rather tough play, Defensa y Justicia's Manuel Donostia got a free kick in the 19th minute. Leopoldo Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Luar in the 20th minute of the match. Isaias Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leopoldo Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Luar might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Eleder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Luar ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Iztal struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Leopoldo Eleder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahrenfeld. Defensa y Justicia's Leopoldo Eleder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Hugo Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahrenfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Maurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Eleder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Maurino in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The wind increased when Hugo Maurino made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Eleder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y Justicia's zone, Isaias Iztal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some careless play in the Defensa y Justicia defense, Hugo Maurino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Eleder. The Defensa y Justicia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Eleder should have stopped the shot. When Mauricio Sedeni fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahrenfeld's protests and gave Mauricio Sedeni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Hugo Maurino fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. When Bonifacio Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ahrenfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Estevez couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Israel Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Defensa y Justicia booed when Ahrenfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Salomone came free, but Leopoldo Eleder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Eleder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Maurino went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, Ahrenfeld's Hugo Maurino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Eleder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximo Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Paz in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Ahrenfeld's Christian Luar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Eleder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes, Gaston Gonsalve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensa y Justicia and the Ahrenfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaston Gonsalve hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Christian Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leopoldo Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ahrenfeld had played much better football throughout.
