After 27 played minutes Atletico de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Elias Alonso. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Rafaela's zone, Nereo Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Ekain came out of the goal and Nereo Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dionisio Transito came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico de Rafaela's Teodosio Iratzeder. But to his dismay, Teodosio Iratzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico de Rafaela's goalkeeper Gaston Ekain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Iratzeder made a kick off. If Fausto Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Rafaela's Fernando Kusko got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Vicente Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico de Rafaela's Gaston Ekain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Iratzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Transito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
