In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Leopoldo Eleder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Caravantes FC's Nereo Nalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Eleder narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
