Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Hernan Brion started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Gavino Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Daniel Corderro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Pasqual skillfully saved the ball. Gogo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Paulo Pasqual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CaChaLoTe's Lorenzo Laurin got a free kick in the 11th minute. Marcelino Lorien took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Pasqual. CaChaLoTe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gogo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Independien's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Iturri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pasqual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Paulo Pasqual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Iturri scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Pasqual, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Quiroga hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mario Palos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by CaChaLoTe's Gavino Perfecto. But to his dismay, Gavino Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. CaChaLoTe's Haroldo Senen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Pasqual. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. Gogo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo Pasqual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hernan Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Perfecto made a kick off. CaChaLoTe's Paulo Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Brion in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Brion in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pasqual saved CaChaLoTe from getting behind. When Ramon Jon fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaChaLoTe's protests and gave Ramon Jon a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes CaChaLoTe got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Jon. The supporters of Club Atlético Independien booed when CaChaLoTe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Gogo Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Jon got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to CaChaLoTe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ramon Jon hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Gogo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Independien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CaChaLoTe's Paulo Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Brion in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CaChaLoTe's zone, Hernan Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Pasqual came out of the goal and Hernan Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
