In the 3rd minute, Arnaldo Bermund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atlanta FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gilberto Lander hit a great ball. Celestino Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Guerrero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Sugoi in the 11th minute of play forced Atlanta FC's goalkeeper Enrique Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Sugoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Guerrero having to make a save. After 15 minutes of play, Deportivo Humito's Leonides Guillelmo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Guerrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leonides Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Humito's protests and gave Leonides Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Deportivo Humito got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Guillelmo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Bieito in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Justin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 minutes, Celestino Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Humito and the Atlanta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celestino Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Atlanta FC's Genaro Venceslao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Justin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atlanta FC's Enrique Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlanta FC from getting a goal against them. Atlanta FC's Genaro Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Enrique Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Humito. 40 minutes into the match, Atlanta FC's goalkeeper Enrique Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Guillelmo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Bieito in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo Humito's goalkeeper Esteban Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

55 minutes into the match, Deportivo Humito's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Bieito came free, but Esteban Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Humito's zone, Genaro Venceslao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Justin came out of the goal and Genaro Venceslao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Venceslao's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Esteban Justin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esteban Justin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atlanta FC's zone, Leonides Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Guerrero came out of the goal and Leonides Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Diego Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Enrique Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Humito. After 79 played minutes Atlanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Lander. Celestino Sugoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Genaro Venceslao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Esteban Justin made a huge save. Genaro Venceslao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Justin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atlanta FC defense, Celestino Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Guerrero. The Atlanta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Guerrero should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Humito had won after a very even match.
