After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan FC's zone, Jorge Sol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Clementi came out of the goal and Jorge Sol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute of the match Claudio Rainerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Clementi skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Hondo got free with Anselmo Txindoki in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Txindoki having to interfere. A collision led to Buchanan FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Artemio Montez hit a great ball. Bruno Hori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Clementi having to make a save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Sol was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jorge Sol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Clementi. Buchanan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Sol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Nothingham City's Roman Blasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Clementi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Sol did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Severiano Clementi 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Bruno Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nothingham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Anselmo Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Bruno Hori fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severiano Clementi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Hori's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Severiano Clementi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jorge Sol struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Severiano Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nothingham City. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan FC's zone, Marciano Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Clementi came out of the goal and Marciano Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eusebio Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buchanan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Hondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Nothingham City getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Siro Evarado hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, Nothingham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Leo Quirze sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Txindoki skillfully saved the ball.
