The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Iratzeder took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Gasteiz. Victorino Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Iratzeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Gasteiz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Iratzeder in the 23rd minute of play forced Chachapoyas AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Iratzeder's late challenge caught a Chachapoyas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Iratzeder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Formosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Isaac Rozarius sped through Chachapoyas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorino Gasteiz. A collision led to Formosa FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ariel Karlo hit a great ball. Luisito Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Rozarius took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Gasteiz. Victorino Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Isaac Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Victorino Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formosa FC. Maximiliano Iratzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gasteiz having to interfere. Victorino Gasteiz had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Isaac Rozarius from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 64th minute, Bartolo Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Gasteiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Iratzeder in the 65th minute. Formosa FC's Elpidio Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Vito in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Chachapoyas AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Domingos Henrico hit a great ball. When Domingos Henrico fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chachapoyas AFC's protests and gave Domingos Henrico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Domingos Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Leonides Baudelio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Gasteiz skillfully saved the ball. Maximiliano Iratzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Victorino Gasteiz made a huge save. Victorino Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Rozarius in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Formosa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chachapoyas AFC.
