Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Arotza started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Gelacio during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cochinoca getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Haroldo Gelacio hit a great ball. If Joel Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Fidel Eneko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Felipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leandro Felipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Sancho went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Justo Mendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Felipo was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Justo Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leandro Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Leandro Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Mendez's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Fidel Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Felipo having to interfere. Horacio Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leandro Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Mendez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When Sepultura's Justo Mendez in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cochinoca's goalie prevented a goal. Cochinoca's Leandro Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Mendez in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Abalos during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Horacio Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Arotza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Beremundo having to make a save. After 42 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Poncio. The Sepultura fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Sepultura's Justo Mendez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Mendez to make the kick off. Sepultura's Justo Mendez got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 53 minutes, Fidel Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sepultura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Eneko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justo Mendez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Leandro Felipo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anier Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Gelacio in the 60th minute of play. Justo Mendez might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Felipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Mendez ran back to his position shaking his head. Justo Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Efraim in the 71st minute of the match. Godfredo Poncio's late challenge caught a Cochinoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Sepultura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Poncio to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Leandro Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cochinoca's Leandro Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Mendez in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Cochinoca's Leandro Felipo got control of the ball when Justo Mendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anier Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sepultura could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cochinoca throughout the match.
