The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delmar Iratzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Lesardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Iratzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, Marini AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Bonifaco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Astudillo. Ovidio Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Lesardo having to interfere. Ivan Abar's late challenge caught a Moises ville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Abar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marini AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ivan Abar hit a great ball. Oscar Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute Delmar Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Iratzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Eusebio Matai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Delmar Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Atarrabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Ferran struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dionisio Lesardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marini AFC. Dionisio Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Ferran in the 54th minute of the match. If Ovidio Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Moises ville's Dionisio Lesardo got control of the ball when Delmar Iratzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises ville's Dario Nataniel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teodoro Bonifaco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teodoro Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Atarrabi in the 77th minute of play. Eleuterio Ciano's late challenge caught a Marini AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Ciano helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Ovidio Ferran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Nataniel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marini AFC's zone, Oscar Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Bonifaco came out of the goal and Oscar Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes of play Moises ville's Eleuterio Ciano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st match minute, Moises ville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Ciano to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Ferran in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Delmar Iratzeder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dionisio Lesardo. The goal made the score 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marini AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
