The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Ereinotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteban Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rolando Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agronomía FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Ereinotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Ereinotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Esteban Rios made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Lino Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Asado al parquet's protests and gave Celso Curcio a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Asado al parquet got a freekick which was hit by Celso Curcio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. Asado al parquet's Esteban Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Gaizkine in the 51st minute of play. Amador Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edgard Mantzio sent off a good shot on target. Amador Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Beltran in the 65th minute of play. Esteban Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Gaizkine in the 66th minute of the match. Ovidio Pello hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Godfredo Rocendo put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when Asado al parquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball.
