The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Panacón AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Guilabertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Iratxo. After 7 played minutes Garza IB got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Guzman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Guzman in the 9th minute of play forced Panacón AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Ladio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Angel Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panacón AFC. Guillermo Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Ladio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Sustrai saved Garza IB from getting behind. Cornelio Guilabertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Iratxo in the 24th minute. Feliberto Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cornelio Guilabertus made a huge save. In the 27th minute of the match, Feliberto Iratxo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Guilabertus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cornelio Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Beturian in the 31st minute of play. Carmelo Artal made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Panacón AFC's Damaso Jakobe. Angel Sustrai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Ladio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Teodosio Azubeli's late challenge caught a Garza IB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Azubeli helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the match, Panacón AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Guilabertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Iratxo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Beturian made a kick off. Danilo Kiliz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Melquiades Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garza IB's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Guilabertus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Seme scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Guilabertus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Gilesindo's late challenge caught a Garza IB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Guilabertus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cornelio Guilabertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Cornelio Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Iratxo in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Panacón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Iratxo came free, but Cornelio Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Feliberto Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garza IB's Angel Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Garza IB from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Nestor Galeno in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Panacón AFC's Marciano Illart. Cornelio Guilabertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Salvador Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Panacón AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Damaso Jakobe hit a great ball. Feliberto Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Guilabertus having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Garza IB's goalkeeper Angel Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
