The tension between the Garza IB and the Chancay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Balasi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Ildefonso Tauro came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Chancay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Tauro couldn't finish the play. Angel Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mateo in the 7th minute of play. Feliberto Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Selatse having to interfere. Angel Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ovidio Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ildefonso Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Garza IB's goalkeeper Angel Sustrai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Tauro. A collision led to Garza IB getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alberto Seme hit a great ball. Angel Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Feliberto Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Melquiades Beturian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eliseo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Sustrai having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Beturian was the one to do the kick off. If Melquiades Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute of the match Ariel Lizbeth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Sustrai skillfully saved the ball. When Eliseo Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chancay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mateo couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Garza IB's Feliberto Iratxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Selatse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garza IB's goalkeeper Angel Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Eliseo Mateo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chancay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ildefonso Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Angel Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ildefonso Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Melquiades Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garza IB's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Beturian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Selatse was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ovidio Selatse made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Mario Manny sent off a good shot on target. Ovidio Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Beturian in the 93rd minute of play. If Eliseo Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
