Suripugio's Filomeno Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Socorro in the 38th minute of play. Edelmiro Brion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Filomeno Efraim made a huge save. Froilan Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
