Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Apolo Abreu got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Gorosti got free with Eugenio Ascencio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute of the match Cortaderas FC got a corner. Perón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cecilio Cordairo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cortaderas FC's Narciso Gorosti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Berenguer in the 9th minute of play forced Perón's goalkeeper Eugenio Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Ascencio was a little too slow when Cecilio Cordairo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Salvador Cugat fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perón's protests and gave Salvador Cugat a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Perón's Salvador Cugat got a free kick in the 17th minute. Eugenio Ascencio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cecilio Cordairo. If Narciso Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Sixto Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Narciso Gorosti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Ascencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Perón's Eugenio Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Cordairo in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes Perón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cecilio Cordairo who took care of the corner kick. Cortaderas FC's Cecilio Cordairo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Ascencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 31 played minutes Perón got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Orti. Narciso Gorosti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Ascencio came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Gorosti slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Cortaderas FC's Guaberto Berenguer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With his leg Eugenio Ascencio managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Cortaderas FC's Narciso Gorosti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute of the match Cortaderas FC got a corner. Perón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cecilio Cordairo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cortaderas FC's corner Gogo Llorian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Ascencio quite easily take care of the ball. Cortaderas FC's Guaberto Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Cecilio Cordairo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eugenio Ascencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Cecilio Cordairo sped through Perón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Ascencio. In the 65th minute Cecilio Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Galtero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 7-1. Americo Argina came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Galtero could save by the left post. When Perón's Apolo Abreu, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Perón. Cecilio Cordairo scored 8-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Ascencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Guaberto Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Guaberto Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Cecilio Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortaderas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Cordairo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Cordairo's late challenge caught a Perón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Cordairo helped the player get up and apologised. Cecilio Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Guaberto Berenguer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortaderas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Cortaderas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
