Modesto Abeijon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Senon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Yariguarenda FC's Everardo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Duardo in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yariguarenda FC defense, Cornelio Dabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Santos. The Yariguarenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Santos should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yariguarenda FC! The referee gave Horcones a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hilario Chesus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yariguarenda FC's Everardo Santos. 1-2. Modesto Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Quico kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Evaristo Hechter managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Bernabe Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Natalio Senon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yariguarenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Yariguarenda FC's Natalio Senon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Abeijon. That made the score 3-2 after 44 minutes of play. Horcones's Victoriano Elequemedo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Dabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hilario Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Santos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Venerando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Abeijon was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Astor Salvator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yariguarenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horcones the free kick. After 65 played minutes Yariguarenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Salvator. Horcones's Modesto Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Senon in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Horcones's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Senon came free, but Modesto Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yariguarenda FC's Everardo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yariguarenda FC from getting a goal against them. Cornelio Dabi scored 3-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 played minutes Horcones got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Duardo. Everardo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Dabi in the 94th minute of play. The Yariguarenda FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Horcones's performance. The match ended with a win for Horcones.
