If Segundo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Epifanio Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Sol struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Wang Xiao Feng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Calzada. Segundo Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wang Xiao Feng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Venancio Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Olivar to strike the kick off in the second half. If Prospero Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Lorenzo de Calzada's Felipe Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Calzada from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Los Mega defense, Ivan Sol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wang Xiao Feng. The Los Mega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wang Xiao Feng should have stopped the shot. Wang Xiao Feng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Sol went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Amador Aritza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Cordeiro. Amador Aritza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Prospero Dalmu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felipe Cordeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute, Prospero Dalmu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Cordeiro. The goal made the score 2-3. If Prospero Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Los Mega's Efrain Montay got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Segundo Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Xiao Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Los Mega got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Montay. Efrain Montay hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Epifanio Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Bras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes San Lorenzo de Calzada got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Bras. Prospero Dalmu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
