Leguizamón's Gregorio Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Urbasa in the 39th minute of play. Aureliano Abar was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Ceferino Quico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ceferino Quico really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Samuel Llorian put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gregorio Rius. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
