Haroldo Tabby came out of the goal and Nicanor Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 de Diciembre's Clodoveo Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Xi Hai in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 9 de Diciembre's 白旭桑 got a free kick in the 40th minute. If He Xi Hai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Nerio in the 45th minute of play. He Xi Hai took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Ferdinand. Clodoveo Ferdinand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Ascencio made a kick off. Bayram Karataev struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
