Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Ampallo FC's Narciso Palban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Deportivo San Onofre's Ivan Fliz got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ampallo FC's Narciso Palban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedicto Evangelista. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Jose Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Codruț Iordache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Estefan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Danilo Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Evangelista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Oliverios in the 34th minute. Deportivo San Onofre's Benedicto Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Palban in the 35th minute of play. If Mariano Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Ampallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Diagur. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th match minute, Deportivo San Onofre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Fliz to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo San Onofre's Codruț Iordache got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Braulio Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivan Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo San Onofre's protests and gave Ivan Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. Ampallo FC's Jose Chepe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sebastian Chorche in the 66 minute of the game. With his leg Gaspar Estefan managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Deportivo San Onofre's Codruț Iordache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benedicto Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Xacintu in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Sidro in the 76th minute of play forced Ampallo FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Gar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With his leg Gaspar Estefan managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Deportivo San Onofre's Codruț Iordache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silvio Oliverios's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Onofre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Ampallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Oliverios.
