An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Javiero in the 41st minute of play forced Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Iratxo made a kick off. If Ezequiel Sol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Baldomero Javiero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colegio Ward fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cleto Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Sol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cleto Orlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Orlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Javiero in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colegio Ward fully deserved thier win.
