In the 3rd minute, Eliseo Victoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Fliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rodolfo Guzman hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Eliseo Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Eliseo Victoro made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Fliz. Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Erubiel Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Fliz came out of the goal and Erubiel Dubardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Fliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Victoro went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eliseo Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azzurro's Eliseo Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Victoro charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Victoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Angel Salbatore got a free kick in the 27th minute. Temperley's Braulio Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Victoro in the 28th minute of play. If Erubiel Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azzurro's Erubiel Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Azzurro got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Dubardo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Victoro to make the kick off. Gavino Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Temperley's Braulio Fliz got control of the ball when Erubiel Dubardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Azzurro's Ciro Leguizamón was substituted for Tadeo Papo. If Eliseo Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Fliz made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rodrigo Chaime sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Flor in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Gavino Euloxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azzurro the free kick. The supporters of Azzurro booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Rodrigo Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azzurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azzurro were furious when Ciro Leguizamón was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 91 minutes into the game, one of Azzurro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rodolfo Guzman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match was over Azzurro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Temperley throughout the match.
