Echegoyen FC's Milio Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Alonso in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Echegoyen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Loren to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Emesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Constancio Morales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milio Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Iturri in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Emesto saved Manchester Uniteds from getting behind. The tension between the Echegoyen FC and the Manchester Uniteds players grew even worse after the yellow card.
