In the 18th minute, Saturnino Alonso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nemesio Acevedo. The goal made the score 2-0. After 21 minutes of play, Detroit Lions's Hermengildo Guilabertus made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Emesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hermengildo Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. But to his dismay, Saturnino Alonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Saturnino Alonso took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Acevedo. Nemesio Acevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Dalmacio Refugio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match.
