The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Che was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Piarres took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Acevedo. Nemesio Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Frederico in the 68th minute of play forced Detroit Lions's goalkeeper Nemesio Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Fabian Veremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Detroit Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. Lima's Severiano Ekain couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute.
