Ruben Lambafoss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Prudencio Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio-César Falcioni. In the 93rd minute, Serafino Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Ekialde got free with Julio-César Falcioni in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Ebardo's late challenge caught a NIBIRU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ebardo helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over NIBIRU could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Porvenir throughout the match.
