The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascual Elodio scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Pancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th match minute, Beyond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, HotShot FC's Domingo Dabi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cornelio Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Daniel Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Beyond FC's Basilio Bieito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Abaurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes of play, HotShot FC's Pascual Elodio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alonzo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marcelino Urko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alonzo Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascual Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Urko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Baumar's late challenge caught a HotShot FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Baumar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Beyond FC's Cornelio Baumar got a free kick in the 39th minute. Daniel Abaurre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cornelio Baumar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Pascual Elodio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Marcelino Urko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th minute Basilio Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Baumar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, HotShot FC's Adrian Tonio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Candido Dei, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Domingo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes, Victoriano Matteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beyond FC and the HotShot FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. HotShot FC's Daniel Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Bieito in the 98th minute of play. When Elvio Gutierrez fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HotShot FC's protests and gave Elvio Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. Elvio Gutierrez hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. HotShot FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
