With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Amador Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Macio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Frechoso came free, but Ezequiel Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Chorche got free with Vicente Johans in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Samuel Lauren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Lauren in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Johans saved piratacordobes from getting behind. When Eustaquio Sedeni came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the piratacordobes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Sedeni couldn't finish the play. Severo Duarte hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. piratacordobes's Israel Frechoso managed to work through Macio AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Israel Frechoso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. piratacordobes's Vicente Johans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save piratacordobes from getting a goal against them. The Macio AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. piratacordobes were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Lauren made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Samuel Lauren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, piratacordobes's Joel Bonifaco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ezequiel Felo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Claudio Cordarrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Johans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Claudio Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Oliviero charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Oliviero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Gabriel Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Israel Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Eustaquio Sedeni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ezequiel Felo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Israel Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. piratacordobes's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Frechoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Israel Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. Israel Frechoso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The piratacordobes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
