Macio AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Galindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Lauren in the 29th minute of play forced ÑANDUBAY's goalkeeper Serafin Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Otsoko's late challenge caught a Macio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, ÑANDUBAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Lauren in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Igon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Macio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Arixo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Severo Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Macio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Duarte. If Jairo Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macio AFC's Samuel Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Macio AFC booed when ÑANDUBAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Igon made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Claudio Cordarrel sent off a good shot on target. ÑANDUBAY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
